Trale is getting excited about Halloween coming up. We got an ad in the mail from Party City yesterday that has their full line of costumes for this year. Trale already knew what he wanted to be.
On our walk this morning Trale told me Party City had a Darth Vader costume on sale. I said since it was on sale we needed to hurry so we could buy it before all the Darth Vader costumes were gone. He then asked what does it mean to "be on sale." I told him a sale is when the store drops the price so folks can save money.
Trale then told me what he heard on TV. "Save Money, Live Better. Wal-Mart" The marketing guys at Wal-Mart have brainwashed my son.
Since Darth Vader is the coolest character on Lego Star Wars, we continued our talk about how excited he was about Halloween and strategy on Lego Star Wars the next time we play.
