Welcome to the new blog here. I walk my six year old son, Trale to school every morning. It's been a wonderful daily 7/10th of a mile round trip. Trale and I talk about all kinds of stuff. I find that some of the conversations are quite interesting and want to remember for years to come. Enjoy.

Today we talked about Lego Star Wars. Trale's favorite video game. We get to play it together a lot. There is one character we haven't won yet. It's the Ghost Obi Wan Kanobi. It's worth a million points. Trale really wants that to complete all the characters on the game.
Trale is a pretty curious 6 year old. Talking about Ghost Obi Wan Kanobi got him thinking about Ghosts and dying. He thought it was sad when my cat died about six months ago. He thought I was going to die soon because I was so old. I had to tell him I have many more years to go that I was still very young. And not to worry about those things and to enjoy life now.
Almost immediately after that comment we continued talking about Lego Star Wars.
As always, before the crossing guard, I give him a hug and tell him to have a great day at school. As I walk back home and he walks inside school, we wave at each other and give the hand sign for I love you.
